Chester's Fairground

Owen Parker is obsessed with video games, none more so than the latest release of War Games 5. Hes been counting down the days until its release, only be horrified by its price! After failing to convince his parents to loan him the money for the game, Owen decides to run away, hoping theyll reconsider funding Owens MUST HAVE. While out of the house, Owen sees a yard sale and is soon handed a free video game, Chesters Fairground, by a very nervous looking teenager. He decides to return home where he can try out his new game by himself. But this video game will change Owens life forever, as he enters the world of Chesters Fairground with others who have also entered the Fairground. What surprises and secrets does Owen discover along the way? Well, youll have to read on to find out... but we should warn you this tale is NOT for the faint hearted. The story features a whole host of colourful and entertaining characters, including Owens parents, other children and, of course, the host of the Fairground itself, Chester.
