Clinical Chronopharmacology

This book contains a collection of review papers written by trained clinical chrono-pharmacologists. Periodic and thus predictable changes in biological susceptibility and response to a large variety of chemical agents, including drugs and food, were already considered commonplace in the early 1970s. Dosing-time dependent changes in both tolerance and effectiveness have been clinically documented for many drugs. A sound basis for chronotherapy is progressively emerging which this book aims to make the reader aware of.
