Cloud Clad Angel

Cloud-Clad Angel is Vera Srbinovi's critically acclaimed collection of poems, which was first published in a bilingual English Serbian edition in 2008 and is now being released for the first time internationally. Since her debut in 1961 with Unlocked Gates, she has authored 21 other collections of poetry, including Wings of Destiny, Pomegranate Rubies, and The Dream of Byzantium.

VERA SRBINOVI was born in Belgrade. After studying English and literature at the University of Belgrade, she went abroad and has lived in The Hague, The Netherlands since 1963. She was awarded the Milica Stojadinovi Srpkinja prize for poetry in 2002 (Novi Sad, Serbia), and the Rastko Petrovi literary prize in 2005 (Belgrade, Serbia).
