Coastal management in Timor-Leste

The stunning and rough beauty of Timor-Leste's coastal landscape and its bountiful resources are at risk - rapid population growth, unsustainable economic development, and resource exploitation are among the most pressing challenges this tiny country faces. This book looks at how human activities are impacting on the coastal zone, what type of management challenges arise from these impacts, and what kind of management approach can help to address current and future problems.
