Our journey unfolds during World War II. Lieutenant Alex Jenkins is flying with the Army Air Force. The crew of Dog Breath make a stunning leap into combat. Their B-17 Flying Fortress bomber encounters death-defying action with artillery fire and Nazi fighter aircraft. The crewmembers must bailout over Nazi occupied France.

A mysterious British woman rescues Alex and helps him escape. She is a radio operator spy working with the French Resistance. He meets another woman. This encounter leads Alex to believe she is a suspected German spy.

The Office of Strategic Services deploys Alex to perform a counter-intelligence mission. His new spy codename is The Navigator. Startling revelations unfold as the D-day invasion approaches.
