Coherent Dynamics of Complex Quantum Systems

• Complex Systems and Their Statistical Description.- Examples of Complex Systems.- Two-Level and Level—Band Systems.- Two-Band System.- Soluble Time-Dependent Systems.- Time-Dependent Complex Systems.- The Dynamics of One-Dimensional Relay-Type Systems.- Composite Complex Quantum Systems.- Bibliography and Problems.

From the reviews: "The book addresses in a systematic way the treatment of multilevel quantum systems which appear in a lot of problems in different areas of physics, chemistry, and quantum electronics. ... Lots of examples are worked out in detail in the book. ... provides a very nice general bibliography ... ." (Bassano Vacchini, Zentralblatt MATH, Vol. 1095 (21), 2006) "The intention of the book, viz., to provide a unified treatment of dynamical problems in different areas of the theory. ... in its present form the book already supplies a valuable reference source and contribution to the literature as it currently embodies the only existing text focusing on quantum population dynamics in multilevel systems, Thus everyone interested in this field will profit from having a look into this book."
