Come and Be Filled: Feasting with Jesus in His Word

Scripture is filled with many noteworthy meals, especially when Jesus sat at table with people during His earthly ministry. But meals are more than just food--they are a point of community, both with other humans and with our God. The Christian hospitality shown when others are included at our tables gives us opportunities to bring Christ to one another and to those who don't yet know Him. At the Table with Jesus draws the reader into significant turning points in God's story of salvation that happened at meals. Reflecting on these scriptural passages, readers will see that our everyday meals are more sacred than they might think.
