Composition Research

Intended for writing instructors and those interested in composition research who do not have extensive empirical training, Composition Research explains ten of the most common empirical designs used in the social sciences. Illustrating each design with examples from two or three composition studies, it will enable instructors to distinguish between strong and weak empirical studies on writing.
