Computational Approaches to the Lexicon

This volume, which arises from the 5th Pisa International Summer School on Comutational Lexicology and Lexicography, offers a broad interdisciplinary perspective on the field. In their overview paper Atkins, Levin, and Zampolli trace the development of computational lexicography, and its links to theoretical linguistics. The sections following discuss the collection and pre-processing of textual data, the theoretical infrastructure of lexical analysis, and methodologies and tools.
