Computers and Law

The use of computers in all spheres of life has become a common, increasing phenomenon. They are used, for instance, in daily commercial transactions like elctronic transfer funds (EFT), conclusion of contracts and in the legal arena for complex diagnostic purposes. These uses raise a number of interesting legal questions like the liability of parties in EFT, liability for defective software and the nature of law and legal reasoning.
