Confessions of a Car Hire Driver 2 is a sequel story that revolves around the relationships of Don and his wife Abena, Gary and his wife Bimbo, and Mike and his wife Esi. It is set in Accra, Ghana; London, UK; and Lagos, Nigeria. It is an incredible romantic adventure story that, contrary to what they have been led to believe, improves their marital condition. These three couples unintentionally became the best versions of themselves by not giving in to social pressures to pursue happiness in life. It was a surprising awakening to an all-encompassing "family" lifestyle that is nearly unachievable in most couple's lifetimes. Don and Abena's love for each other is the driving force of the story and is replicated in the lives of the other two couples, who became close family friends in their romantic adventures together. Their bonded friendship helps them overcome almost all of the challenges they face, a reminder that anything is possible if you set your mind to it. They eventually overcome their obstacles to make their dreams come true.
