Many of us have confusion in making decisions, especially when it comes to buy grocery, we try to choose the best quality in cheaper prices out of numerous brands who promise everything about quality, quantity etc. Among us many people get influenced by the appealing ethical aspects related to some products, and also by packaging. Many researchers in these days have developed research about CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) which is one of the most emergent awakenings in corporate and non-corporate organisations, even consumers align with the aspect of acting in an ethical manner towards their environment and surroundings. Looking at these aspects of being morally responsible and acquiring the motivation to do so, consumers these days may get confused while making a buying decision. Chester is said to be a city with most of the ethically responsible organisations. Fairtrade is one of the most increasing and integrated way of implementing CSR in any organisation. The main object of this paper is to identify that does ethics drives consumers of different ages to purchase or refrain from purchasing Fairtrade products in Chester, and also to understand their buying behaviours.
