Contextualized Grammar Teaching

classroom teaching of grammar in secondary schools has over the years been a challenge to most language teachers partly because most books present the teaching of grammar in terms of rules that the learner is expected to memorize and reproduce in communication. This approach fails to provide the learner with contexts in which grammatical items should be used.This book therefore recommends the use of oral literature in the teaching of grammar.
