Cop Killer

It is 1973 when a New York police ocer is gunned down in the vestibule of a mob hangout. As the killer, maa boss Frank Ardone, escapes despite the bullet from the slain cop's gun that remains in his shoulder, he breathes a sigh of relief, not realizing that detectives Anthony Pirelli and Solly Samuels will soon be hot on his tail.

Pirelli and Samuels know they need the bullet to convict the killer. Seemingly left with few options, Detective Pirelli's eorts to nail the murderer prove fruit-less. Leads go nowhere. The courts do nothing to help. Frustrated beyond belief, Pirelli and Samuels helplessly spin their wheels while a cop killer freely walks the streets. But when Pirelli is suspended from the force as part of the investigation, he suddenly gains the freedom to move in the netherworld of organized crime where he calls upon his charm and street smarts as he attempts to maneuver himself closer and closer to Ardone.
