Corporate eLearning or training can provide multiple benefits to corporations. However, it is still unclear how employees benefit from using different eLearning management systems as a means of training and development. Corporations continue to provide eLearning support to their employees without knowing the impact on employees' productivity, job satisfaction, overall job performance, and organizational commitment. Corporations are sometimes in the dark whether expenditures on eLearning correlate to higher productivity; improve job satisfaction, and overall organizational commitment. Corporations also wonder whether their eLearning investments for training and development are justified. This book examines whether eLearning usage has any correlation with these variables. A survey of educational institutions and international corporations was conducted to explore the impact of corporate eLearning on employees' productivity, job satisfaction, overall job performance, and organizational commitment. Demographic factors such as age, gender, employee status (fulltime or part-time), managerial level, year of eLearning experience, educational level, and company size were analyzed to determine impact on employee satisfaction, productivity, performance, and commitment. The results showed that the use of technology alone will not yield desired results; corporations need to determine a balance between eLearning strategies and managerial support.
