In this legal thriller, Tommy Riley, an extremely successful pro-bono lawyer, takes on the Archdiocese of New Orleans for sex discrimination. His client, Alejandra Batista, wants nothing more than to be ordained a priest in the Catholic Church. As the trial unfolds, a religious extremist takes matters into his own hands-kidnapping and torturing the young woman.
