Crest of the Fallen

When Feya was a young fairy, her village was invaded by a horde of vampires. In the ensuing melee, the vampires' murdered her parents before her eyes and Feya was bitten. She was forced to run away from her home in order to avoid execution. Halflings were not allowed and once she was bitten Feya's fate was sealed. But a vampire named Aethelredd finds her and takes her in, raising her as his own and training her in both her fae magic and vampire powers. Years later, a figure from her past returns to ask for her help. Elwyn Altalune needs Feya to help him uncover who is after him, and who is looking to take down the Fairy Queen. Leaving the safety of her adopted family, Feya sets out with Elwyn, all while trying to hide her vampire side from the other faes, who would have her executed.
