Critical Perspectives on EdTech in Higher Education

This open access book explores the critical dimensions of educational technology (EdTech) platforms and platformisation in higher education. It focuses on four analytical dimensions: the key political economy aspects, human-technology relations and human actors interactions with platform features, the mediating roles of higher education institutions policies and the marketisation of the sector more generally, and the empirical and theoretical links between features of higher education platformisation and platformisation trends in broader society.
