In addition to those provided by the author, numerous photos have been selected from the files of Shirley C. Sabin, member of the Board of Directors for Nauset Light Preservation Society. She is a volunteer at the Cape Cod National Seashore and has co-authored several books introducing readers to Cape Cod.
Alice Shardlow, grandmother and retired teacher, has been a regular visitor to the Cape for more than thirty years. She and her husband reside in the hills overlooking Cayuga Lake in upstate New York.
