Crucified

Would you have believed? Are we so different? Hezekiah looks into the eyes of his dying mother. He brushes her hair and tells her favorite story while she drifts in and out of consciousness. He kisses her forehead. Maybe he can find her another doctor, a more expensive doctor, but the money is gone. Perhaps an alternative doctor, even a witch doctor... somebody, anybody... What would you do? An outcast because of the sins of his mother, and the death of his father... searching for acceptance and assistance... torn between being made whole and the holy... pressed between Rome and Israel ...he finds Jesus. Is it an easy decision? Amongst the hundreds crying out "Crucify Him!" Would you have been able to stand?
