One smile from Austin Chambers and I was smitten. He's funny, kind, caring, family-oriented, and extremely sexy. I thought he was good.

Turns out, I have crummy taste in men.

At least Austin showed his true colors before it was too late-even if it was an accident. I'm sure he thought he was being funny, and maybe another woman would agree, but after all I've been through... There was nothing funny about it. He's just mean.

But he's also my new best friend's brother-in-law. Avoiding him entirely is hard to do, especially since she tasked him with filling in for her while she's away for two weeks.

It's hard to remember to keep my guard up when he's bending over backward to apologize-but he doesn't know what he's apologizing for! And we can't talk about it without fighting. And when we fight... Well, hate is a passionate emotion.

But so is love, and the line between the two gets blurred.

Austin proves he isn't the bad news beefcake I thought he was. With that sorted, it's easy to imagine a future with him.
