Linda Lou Sanders
Linda Lou Sanders, widow of Columbine High School teacher and coach Dave Sanders, is a native of Colorado. She and Dave had three daughters, Cindy, Coni and Angela and twelve grandchildren. Linda is the daughter of Burt and Dorothy Skiff and sister of Melody. Linda and Dave married on March 19, 1993. Dave was her first real love, and she collaborated on this book to give tribute to his everyday life as well as his final act of heroism. Linda is a board member of the American Students Fund, which is a character-based scholarship program providing college scholarships, established in memory of the victims of the Columbine tragedy.
Marilyn Saltzman
Marilyn Saltzman served as manager in the Communications Services Department of Jefferson County Schools, where Columbine High School is located, for twenty years. She has also authored "Maybe Tomorrow: A Hidden Child of the Holocaust" with Eric Cahn and "Building School Communities, Strategies for Leaders," with B.J. Meadows, Ph.D. She befriended Linda Lou after Dave's death. Although Marilyn never met Dave, he came to life for her through the stories of those who knew and loved him. She is proud to be a part of this tribute to Dave Sanders, Columbine hero.
