In the near future, Journalist ISABEL 'HATTIE' BALAST interviews just-retired footballer JUSTIN 'EX' PROVERSE and an unlikely friendship grows. Hattie begins writing a story 'Day Of The Drones' featuring characters based on herself and Ex who are attacked by microdrones in their own home. But the deeper into the story Hattie goes, the more life begins to imitate art.In the near future, most things you can imagine happen.So odd couple Hattie and Ex might fall in love. And the sky might fall.
