You have to have fans. Especially in journalism. August Durant is pulled out of his self-imposed life of seclusion by an email from a mystery person claiming to be the next murderer to attract the country's attention. He or she is happy to give his or her exclusive story as long as it's to the former top journalist, making the offer too big to pass up. Along the way, August Durant comes to terms with the price for selling his soul.
