Dear Motherland

Dear Motherland dives into the lives of two siblings - Nelofar and Mustafa, who must pave their way through war torn Afghanistan after losing their Mother, finding out their Father is suffering from a serious illness, and experiencing society withdrawing them from their budding romances. Mustafa faces a lot of trouble and ends up smuggling to Iran, where he faces discrimination while Nelofar goes through a series of tragic events that lead up to her landing in Badam Bagh, an all women's Prison in Kabul. The novel touches upon love, friendship, and hardship.
