Death Is a Hungry Angel

Beverly, who grew up in a Death Hospital in the 1900s, weaves her tale of how an angel of death, Samael, came to be corrupted and imprisoned therein. One hundred years later, fourteen-year-old Anna moves into the abandoned death hospital with her grieving family after the death of her little sister, Abby. To make matters worse, Samael sniffs out Anna and her mom in their grief. With his growing appetite, Samael sees Anna as his way out of servitude as an angel of death if he could only convince her to help him. Meanwhile, Anna looks to Samael to raise her sister from the dead. A power struggle ensues threatening to destroy them both.
