Miseducation has rendered Africans living in America into a state of being deaf, dumb, and blind to the deleterious effects of the social constructs created by Western European/American culture. These social constructs, when used by African-americans to engage the world, create a cognitive dissonance which drives them to insanity.
This paper deconstructs how the ideological components of white nationalism and privilege are normalized as vital foundational aspects of American society. I use the lenses of African-centered scholars as tools for analysis. This analysis emphasizes the value of using ideals grounded in African culture, provided by an African-centered educational curriculum, using precise metaphors in order to socially construct behaviors that serve to correct this mass insanity.
