Synopsis: Deep South Gold is a sprawling story that takes Jane from a naive teenager to being a strong, sexy adult woman willing to do anything to protect her child. Autobiography: Jo Stewart Wray resides with her husband in central Mississippi near the setting of Deep South Gold, French Camp, and Kilmichael, Mississippi. Much of this story was told to the author about misplaced Confederate gold in tunnels near there.
