Descendants of Johann Jacob Lantz, 1721-1789

This book documents the known descendants of 1739 immigrant, Johann Jacob Lantz, who settled in Albany Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. It is the result of twenty-seven years of well-documented research by the author. The book covers primarily Pennsylvania, North Carolina and the majority of northeast and central states. Wherever possible the author has included copies of wills, photos, and referenced records of births, deaths, marriages and burials. The book is divided into six chapters dedicated to the immigrant, Johann Jacob Lantz (1721-1789) and his five known children (and their descendants): Johann Jacob Lantz (1744-aft. 1800), Susanna Catharina Lantz (1745-ca. 1820), Henry Lantz (1746-1802), Johann George Lantz (1751-1827), and Magdalena Lantz. Numerous facsimile reprints of original documents and photographs, a reference list, and a massive every-name index, which totals over 4,300 listings pertaining to surnames from Abernethy to Zollinger add to the value of this work.
