The enquiry is structured around a rich study of a range of key international design schools, and draws on interviews with leading educators from across the world. The book looks back over almost 100 years of the design school, from its establishment in 1919 by the Bauhaus to its experience of numerous educational challenges and crises, considers its current status, and speculates about its future.
