Desolation

A sacrifice resulted in the destruction of an enemy research lab and the release of a weaponized virus: a modified version of the same virus that makes Vampyres what they are. The country is ravaged by a deadly outbreak that threatened to obliterate sentient life on Earth, leaving nothing but a shadow of the world before.
