As Cluny the Scourge, the evil one-eyed rat warlord is hell-bent on destroying the tranquility of Redwall. Our young mouse Matthias follows the example of Hero of times past Martin the Warrior and vows to recover a legendary sword and becomes a hero of Redwall. In Matthias's quest he forged strong ties with
various animals along the way and defeats Cluny the Scourge and his horde and Asmodeus. The story is a page-turner and contains elements of all grand quests. By the end of the book readers will be cheering for our hero Matthias as he uses his brain and brawn to defeat his enemies and defend Redwall.
