It is not uncommon for the process of preparing the sermon to reflect in an exciting way what has long since become a topic for theology as a whole: the responsible perception of biblical texts between exegesis and hermeneutics. The study therefore reconstructs the understanding of the text of contemporary homiletics and places it in the theological-historical context of Old and New Testament exegesis. In connection with more recent theories of text and understanding, she wants to show ways of dealing with the texts of the biblical canon in a new way and thus stimulate preaching theory and practice.
