Die Wiederkehr der res publica

Renowned literary scholars and historians from various European research centers investigate the question of which ideas of the political and the common good, which of the citizen and the state and social order are negotiated in contemporary literature. Models of the res publica are examined by Thomas Hrlimann, Thomas Steinaecker and Juli Zeh, among others. The study focuses both on the nature of the communities presented and on their compatibility with the aesthetic form of their representation.
