Discover Northumberland

30 circular walks covering the whole of Northumberland from north to south and east to west. This second edition has been revised and updated to reflect the many changes which have occurred between 2013 and 2018. The routes are aimed at people of all walking abilities and preferences with lengths ranging from 4.5 km (2.8 miles) to 17.8 km (11.1 miles) and difficulty ranging from easy to strenuous. Many of the longer walks have shorter versions and altogether the different variations and combinations make 47 routes. The walks range from the fabulous Northumberland Coast to the Cheviot Hills, Kielder Forest, the North Pennines, Hadrian's Wall and the areas in between.
