Tony Molinaro regrets the night it all went wrong with his wife, Joanna. But the former police detective can't change the past. Holed up in the jungle of Puerto Vallarta working to bring down a dangerous Asian gang counterfeit pharmaceutical ring, he's trying to put the past behind him.

But then Tony's home is stormed by the enemy. When he escapes through an underground tunnel system and ends up back in San Diego, he soon finds himself at a crime scene with none other than Joanna, now a special agent with the FBI. As happens when she's around Tony, Joanna finds herself swept up in a maelstrom. It soon becomes apparent that Joanna's life is in danger, so she turns to the man she's been trying to forget.

Will they find out who's behind the pharmaceutical ring and who's after Joanna? Can she forgive Tony for the past?
