Divided Only and Distance & Allegiance

The year 1861 found the Bulloch and Roosevelt families divided only by allegiance. The Bulloch women supported their Southern roots, while their northern husbands stayed true to the Union. The War created hardships limiting the family's correspondence, travel, and finances.
