Dortmund Zoo

There are many zoos in Germany and if other countries follow the same policy, with regard to the protection of wild animals, then many wild animals may gradually become urbanized. Animals, such as monkeys, baboons, vultures, owls, wolves, tigers, crocodiles, lions, and many others, are part of the environment of mankind. Their numbers, however, shrink day by day as mankind has occupied all major living lands of the earth. For a good reason, however, some wild and tamed members of the animal kingdom are kept and protected at different zoos in different countries, which are visited by many people to make tourism and traveling meaningful. Furthermore, zoos may be regarded as a good option to prevent the endangered species from extinction (--The modern man can afford such challenge to protect and to save the endangered animals). And Germany should be considered as a country that have met such challenge by opening numerious zoos in her major cities, including the city of Dortmund.The city of Dortmund has a relatively large zoo which hosts many wild and tamed animals fromall around the world. Animal images collected in this 1st edition, include anteater, goats, cows, sheep, deers, camels, wolf, slender-tailed meerkats, bears, gibbon, vultures, eagle, peafowls, pheasant, jaguar, lion, nashorn, sloth and more.
