Down in the Flood: Book 2

January 1910 finds the upper class spy Walter Mansell-Lacey sent on his first mission. He is placed under cover among the Russian expatriates of Paris to discover who is funding an anarchist group in London. Soon he finds hiself involved with a Monsieur Oulinanoff, his wife and his mistress. This man uses name Lenin when writing. Then there are the Apache gangsters and their opponents, the French Flying Squad known as The Tigers. Add a criminal plot involving forged art and our hero soon finds his mission more complex and dangerous than he could ever have envisaged. At the end of the month the swollen River Seine floods Paris and Walter has to rescue a Princess.
