Dreams of Home

Rebecca Beauregard, a young, divorced mother of two little girls, Alica and Shanay, has recently moved back to the small town of her childhood to begin a new life. Equipped with a generous divorce settlement and hope, she purchases a farmhouse, leases space to open a combination bookstore and cafe, and establishes a friendship with the unforgettable Teagan, her polar opposite. Nothing is too far fetched for Rebecca while nothing is too straight and narrow for Teagan, and the way they negotiate their relationship is as intriguing and entertaining as the adventures they share.

One of those adventures involves an antique desk that Rebecca purchases from a man who is in a major hurry to be rid of it. Maybe it's because of the ghost that has made the desk its home. Teagan and Rebecca work to unravel the mystery of the desk and its significance. And through a series of discoveries lifted from a family history recorded by her grandmother Cecile, Rebecca learns that she is living the unfulfilled destiny of an ancestor.
