Dying for Diamonds

Retired schoolteacher Eleanor Penrose has a busy and sometimes complicated life. It becomes even more complex when she comes into possession of a mysterious chest filled with diamonds and a notebook stuffed with secrets.

When a mean-spirited mystery writer visiting the sleepy coastal town gets murdered, Eleanor and her coffee club quickly find themselves involved. 

Family secrets and the bonds that we share are examined and tested as Eleanor, her retired detective friend Angus, the coffee club ladies, and Feathers, the irascible African grey parrot, work to solve the puzzles without becoming the murderer’s next victims.
