Early Motor Control Scales Complete Kit

A norm-referenced communication assessment tool, "EMCS" focuses specifically on measuring young children's motor control and identifying impairments that may lead to a speech delay or disorder. Developed for use with children between 8 and 30 months of age, this concise assessment can also be used with children up to 72 months of age who exhibit atypical speech, motor, or cognitive development. Speech language pathologists and early interventionists can use the motor control profile generated by "EMCS" to guide additional communication assessment, plan intervention goals, and chart changes over time."EMCS" is straightforward and easy to use. Professionals conduct a 15- to 20-minute Behavior Sample, watching as the child and a caregiver engage in natural interactions using familiar play materials and books.
