Earth Mother and the Assault of Capitalism

With climate collapse looming and chemical geo-engineering poisoning the Earth's air and water, humanity faces a battery of lethal crises: undermined food production, ecocide, accelerated desertification and drought, industrialist pillaging of the Earth through oil drilling and mining, and many other such assaults on life itself. Ever-growing crises of unsustainability in the 21st century point to the inevitable collapse of capitalism. This book investigates these crises and proposes a reclamation of Indigenous languages as part of cultural, educational and societal decolonization. By restoring Indigenous ancestral cultural wisdom and practice towards paths of wholeness and sustainability, society can recover, and live simply so that all forms of life may live.
