This book is a culmination of the cartooning classes that were taught at Masterpiece Art School... Although many of these cartooning examples are available online at masterpieceartschool.com, I thought it'd be fun and useful to compile them all in one book for students to enjoy and easily refer to.

A bit about my background: I'm a born artist. At eighteen, I self-published my very own comic book. I was still in high school at the time. It was a great formative experience that I cherish and from which I learned a lot... having attended a specialty arts high school before that, I knew that to be a great artist you needed to have a strong foundation. Smart enough to know that I could not improve on my own, I went to college. 

A lot of the exercises that I've used in my classes I first learned in college, like designing characters with unusual shapes, exaggerated posing, the theory of stretch and squash, and my method for drawing caricatures...

By the end of this book, you will have a really great starter kit for your cartooning career with multiple pathways to follow. You'll get a peek into drawing realistic characters and also exaggerating those characters for comedic or creative purposes.
