No matter what the season, trees display their splendor. But one of the most striking winter sights for me are tree boughs laden with snow. It doesn't matter how large or small the limbs of a tree may be, snow will rest on its branches just the same. Snow blankets a tree's nakedness with a covering so pure and white that it may be easy to forget how lush and colorful they are any other time of year. Despite the natural trials trees face each season, they continue to be a portrait of beauty.
