Economic Mobilization

This document addresses the problem of supply in economic mobilization from the national viewpoint showing the potential impacts upon the major sub-divisions of the national economy and upon the plans and operations of the national military establishment. Requirements (of the military, civilian, allies), impact on national economy, methods of providing security from the atomic bomb, allocation and priorities (civilian vs. military), impacts on the national military establishment, political implications, and trends to the solution of problems of supply are all described.
