Edible Encounters was written with the desire to show people what can happen in a moment in time if we open ourselves up to possibilities. As a physician, I have been blessed to have had many encounters with other people. It always amazes me how a new relationship can change the biggest pessimist into a smiling optimist. Love enduring and great sex are key indicators for wellness of the mind, body, and spirit. To love and to be loved, I believe is everyone's desire. I wrote Edible Encounters because I myself am learning about love, giving love, and accepting love. The characters come to my spirit and tell me their stories. When I write their story they disappear into the night to pursue their desires.
Writing their stories, allows me an outlet, and keeps me from having to take antipsychotic medication. The stories are so real, I forget they are fiction or are they? I have decided to write several series, based on encounters that change the course of people's lives. An Edible Encounters 2 is in the works, as well as a series entitled Moving Encounters, which take place with a car, plane, etc.
Edible Encounters consists of short stories:

Breakfast with Tiffany: A couple met at a coffee shop in New York.
Lunch Break: A Sales Rep and an Office Manager makes a connection
Just Dinner: A couple on the verge of a breakup try to patch things up
Sweet Dessert: A married couple tries to add a little sweetness to their long time marriage.
Midnight Snack: Two old friends discover their relationship maybe more than platonic.
Shrimp Sampler: Does love come in sample size.
Spiced Tea: Love over the phone
Passion Fruit: Is there love in softball?
Fantasia Cocktail: Is Love immortal?
