Synopsis:
The contributors to this book address the theme of educating ethical leaders for the twenty-first century. They represent a wide range of fields, including philosophy, theology, law, science, and medicine. They all share the belief, however, that ethical leadership education is necessary in order to provide the next generation of leaders with the tools that they will need to successfully navigate the challenges of today and of the coming decades. Author Biography:
Walter Earl Fluker is the Martin Luther King, Jr. Professor of Ethical Leadership and the editor of The Howard Thurman Papers Project at Boston University School of Theology. He is author of Ethical Leadership: The Quest for Character, Civility, and Community (2009) and editor of The Papers of Howard Washington Thurman, Volume 1: My People Need Me (2009) and Volume 2, "Christian, Who Calls Me Christian?" (2012).
