Education's Missing Link: Parental Engagement

After reviewing existing literature on the importance of parent engagement in improving students’ performance, it was reported that a large number of students in Jamaica have been performing below the National Average. The author Dr. Kasan Troupe, suggests an incentivized home-support engagement programme with three components: school-based, home-based and a school home-based component.
