The Quran is the holy book of more than one and a half billion Muslims. A text that allows us to feel the encounter between spirituality and history, which invites reflection and transcendence. A work that leaves no one indifferent. This new edition and translation of the Quran from Arabic into Spanish, the first published in Cordoba in a thousand years, proposes to recover the spirituality forgotten in the contemporary world, which has become excessively materialistic and ideological. Its main objective is to rescue the symbolic and poetic character inherent in the Arabic work, offering the reader a personal and reflective experience. The translation, carried out by a Spanish Muslim philosopher and theologian, is situated from a perspective rooted in traditional Islam that reaffirms the Spanish-speaking Islamic heritage. To achieve this, the present edition combines contemporary Spanish with the insertion of Islamic terminology within the Spanish language itself, a legacy of the Moors.
